Tarrant County Detachment

United States
 Marine Corps League

We, the members of Tarrant County Detachment, meet the fourth Tuesday of each month (check "Calendar of Events" page for exact dates) at the Americam Legion Post 516, on the East service road, North of John T. White road.  Address is 6801 Manhattan Blvd, Fort Worth, Texas, 76120.  Post's phone number is 817-451-7222.

All interested Active Duty Marines, Reserve Marines, Retired Marines, Marine Veterans, Navy Corpsmen, and friends of the Corps are welcome to come and join us.

We start around 1830 by trading Sea Stories and tipping a few to honor our Glorious Corps.  Once a Marine, Always a Marine!  Semper Fi!  Do or Die!  Gung Ho & Oorah!

The membership meeting starts at 1930.  We try to have programs at each meeting.  Some are history lessons and others are updates to our present Marine Corps positions and programs in existance at the time.

Our Next Membership Meeting will be June 22nd, 2010, at 1930.  Please come by and see.  We are growing in membership present at our meetings under the guidance of our Detachment Commandant, Joseph Parris.  Come by and help decide the direction of our Tarrant County Detachment, Marine Corps League.

If you haven't seen them yet, we have 'Old Marine" 'T' Shirts.  This is our rebuttle to the 'Old Navy' shirts.  The 'Old Marine' short sleeve 'T' shirts are available in Red, Yellow (Gold), Light Grey and Green.  All sizes for $15.00 each.  Also, we have mock turtle neck, long sleeve 'Old Marine' 'T' Shirts available at $18.00 each.  Point of contact: Walter Barber, 817-925-6907, or at any of our meetings, outings or functions.
